All I need to do is copy a file from cd to memcard

I have an MI with DMS HDE, HDL, etc., etc., and recently updated most of the software on my PS2's hd. When installing HDLD_serv last time, I edited the .elf so that the default IP was 192.168.1.103 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.1 rather than 192.168.0.10 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.1. This time, I edited the .elf and installed the program through HDE, but it was corrupt. I installed the original .elf with the default IPs without problem.

Problem is, due to my router and lack of a crossover cable, I can't ftp my PS2 at all. Don't try to convince me otherwise, please. I'm absolutely positive it is impossible with my setup.

All I need to know is how to copy over ipconfig.dat from a cd to mc0:/SYS-CONF/. Can I do this with an HDE install script?

that is easy.

make a cd or copy the file to your USB stick.

here is a tutorial i made, am working on a new one, but this one should help u out.
