hey guys,
new here...hope someone can help me........... i took the case off my ps2 cause im trying to do a custom install in my car. When i pulled it all apart i just wanted to make sure it still worked.....well, i plugged it in....not thinking..........had my hand on the bottom of the ps2 (where the comp board is........) and i got a little shock and quickly pulled my hand off.......well anyway, the ps2 turns on, loads up, does the main screen entrance then just says (on the screen) no data...............what did i do? how can i fix this..... HELP!
thanks ahead of time from a newbie!

you could have loosened the dvdrom ribbons.. just go back in and make sure all the connections are tight before closing it up. if you gave it a good knock when you were shocked, you may have knocked the sled tray out of alignment. check the laser adjustment guides to fix it..
