Advise please ver 10

I have a version 10 pal with the following symptoms
reset and eject lights working normally ,tray ejecting and fan working but no video or sound and disc does not spin.I know that tracking and focus coils were iffy prior to demise of machine (1ohm and 2 ohms) respectively.
Can anyone advise if these symptoms are consistent with burnt la chip and/or laser.
I know that the LA would account for the no spin of disc but would it also account for the complete lack of video and sound output.
This occured with a DMS3 fitted which has since been removed and all connections cleaned up.All fuses and the possibility of shorts has been checked via multimeter.
The machine was working with chip for several days before it broke.
Any help or advise from someone who knows more than me would be much appreciated

Any chance that you or someone else dropped the PS2 on the ground?

No mate the consul has never been dropped.

Check again the CD/DVD points area. Maybe a small drop of solder is making a short around there.
