About LinkBacksHi all which is the best modchip to play PS2 CD-R Backups And DVD-Backups games? Is the S Box Modchip for the PS2 play CD-R Backups and DVD-Backups on the PS2. I want a cheap Modchip for my PS2 my console is PAL. And could you let me know how much the modchip will be in British Ponds (Think of a best PS2 modchip I can buy). I hope to hear from you soon.

The S-Box is useless for what you want. the best modchip for the PAL pS2 is Messiah which costs between £45 and £50. This is a no swap modchip and boots everything including import originals.

What you want to acomplish is not cheap to buy I'm afraid. There is a Magic 2 Clone that does much the same for around £30 (if you can find a supplier at that price).
