Is the 50010 a v10?
Sorry guys, I got my first PS2 yesterday and I'm new to the whole PS2 scene. It's a model 50010. Is that a v10? Do we call it a v10 just because it's the 10th version to come out, or does it actually say v10 somewhere on the mainboard?
I'm assuming the DMS3 is the way to go if this is indeed a v10. I have no problem with soldering, so it shouldn't be a problem, but official diagrams from DMS haven't been released for the v10 yet right? I'm also concerned about the noise issue I read about on some threads... has it been resolved?
Thanks for your help.
50010 just means ya got the combo pack with the modem, from my understanding..
If the date code is 3c, you have a v9, if it's 3d, you have a V10..
3d doesn't nescessarly mean v10
