2 chips (DMS4 S.E.PRO/Crystal2.0 ProSLE) and 2 PS2's , version recommendations

Back to the topic at hand, they OP wanted to know waht chips were good out of the ones he got. (the CC and the DMS4)

I doubt he's going to leave that DMS4 sit out of a console since it's not a cheap clone. he got his answer and I assume he's installing them.

the marsPRO in my v9 is an older model, HDLoader did not exist when I installed it IIRC. I really want to use ToxicOS , and mess with the flash of the Crystal chip, in order to get rid of mc loading

Sure my mars chip NEVER gave me any problem , even with DL games that I just copied and played without any patches, but noone can deny that a DMS4/CC2.0 is better

DMS is a good chip....until they released the solderless turd that turn out to be the worst chip of all time.....lol.....and just what you said...the toxic OS stored in the DMS is the best out there....no denying that.
