If your installing the Matrix XML2 on v4GAP bios be aware wires R and W seem to cross-talk, like the dms3 wires D and E. Ps2 would black screen and games would not boot correctly when wires R and W were crossed.

ive never done a dms, but i read the remedy for this is to twist one with gnd? or just dont cross them?
NETMECH with the amount of MXL2's you bought. You can be the MXL2 expert from here on out.
Peace out.
haha ok LOD np.. only reason why i like the matrix is because has a few less wires, seems to operate very nicely no red screens and it is version 3-10 compatible. I hate having to carry all different kinds of chips for each version ps2.![]()
That is why I prefer the messiah 2 v1-10. I bet the MXL2 would even work on a v2 with the 020 bios. Also did you test MXL2 for AR2, GS2 compatibility?
i did not test gameshark compatiblity. Messiah 2 1.33b is v1-10 compatible ? i thought it was only v3-9. hm might have to consider those as well.
meh have a matrix i think i'ma put that in my ps2 along with dms3
your gonna put 2 chips in one ps2 ? lol
hey i get bored
XML or MXL ??????
