Hello I seem to have installed my dms3 v9 on my v10 ps2 the right way.The backups come on fine I just seem to have a little crackling noise in the swirls at boot up and my sound also goes in an out.The game seems to be responding to the controls as it should. I just need to get my sound to stay with me. What are the points on the board that control the sound maybe I have something too close to it? Thanks

Probably some short at the BIOS.

Its the clock wire. It is very touchy on the v10 stations. I would recommend using much thicker wire for that point, or wrap it with a 22 awg grounded wire at both ends. Your other option is to move the chip closer to the clock point.

Yup I agree.
Had the same prob a few days ago. THe grounded wire worked for one v10, but not for another DMS3 on a v10.
THe sound was in and out and squeled durring boot up.
