[help plz] V13 fix needed? + thoughts on shop?

I'm planning to buy a new silver pstwo with matrix infinity from:

I mailed the guy and he says it are V13's, so he doesn't install a fix
Now I want to know if a fix is needed or not, I know modders do a fix just in case..
So should I ask to install a fix? and which one then?

Also, how do I know if they sell real MI's instead of all those clones floating around? Would asking a pic do it? or any suggestions?
And does anyone have opinions on this shop?

You mean the prices for the package? They have the best prices of European shops, it's about 10-20 euros cheaper than I would buy, lets say a controller, in my country...

$325 for a brand new premod pstwo with Matrix Infinity is a ripoff. It should cost you around $270, even in Europe. Try contacting one of the European modders on this site, they can sell you a premod for a better price. Look in the vendor's section of this forum.

I think Homersimpson sells em. So yeah check the prices on here first, cause I think that is a ripoff.

well okay, it's a little more expensive than another shop
but I chose this one because I want extra's with it, and then it's cheaper than other ones

this is the deal I got from him after mailing him:

if it is a v13 then no it doesnt need a fix, if you go to
www.infinitymod.com and look at a real matrix, then see the one he is installing you will be able to tell, also ask him if he can update it for you to the latest firmware 1.54 and it should give you an indication if its real or not. the pic on his website is a real infinity but go to matrix site for larger and better pic

I was thinking of asking it to flash it to 1.54, and asking a pic of an install he did

This isnt rip off at all, that console was CHEAP.

In my country the average CHEAPEST price for a premod is about 450$-490$.
And that is WITH NOTHING EXTRA AT ALL!!

Guys, we live in EUROPE, you cant compare prices with US at all.
Just for the record, the price on the Matrix Infinity locally here is usually 90$-100$.

Germany is much cheaper than Norway for sure, so that was a really good price. Atleast what im used too
