Working Previously, Now Problem

Hello,

Sorry to be a bother...but my crystal chip, after 4 months of working perfectly, the chip will not read any backups or firmware update disks with the exception of audio cds. I checked the wiring for the chip once after this occurence and did not see anything wrong. Would there be any advice or instructions to remedy this dillema? Any help will be recieved with great thanks.

sounds like your laser crapped put .

Thanks for the response...what exactly should I do? Increase the voltage to the laser or buy a new one completly? Do you know any reliable place for buying one? Thanks again

you can try that but it usually only a temp fix . try richs psx parts for a laser .
