just ordered crystal chip 2.0 pro, now i have to buy some wires off radio shack to attach the chip to ps2 but i need to be sure before i go to the store,
is "30 gauge (30 AWG) wire-wrap wire" the right one?
it wont burn out or melt? does it last a long time?
sry for being a noob. thanks.

that will work fine for the modchip. Ground and the power you either want to do something like 22gauge or you want to twist two 30gauge wires together. Mostly for power as I usually position my chip somewhere where the ground pad is near a ground pad on the ps2 board and just do a big solder drip blob from the chip down to the motherboard.

radio shack only have "Wire Wrap 30 AWG Kynar wire" so i bought it assuming it is it (it's the right one, right?).
should i buy 22 gauge to be safe cuz "twist two 30 guage wires together" method for ground and power seems hazardous?
