    Hi
    I wonder that what is good place to "hide" chip inside of playstation. I have seen only pics where to solder wires, but placing chip? I have Version 10 playstation 2 and Crystal Chip 1.2

    I don't have a V10 but the art of modding is to place the chip with one thing in mind : to use as short as possible wires. And of course you have to isolate your chip from the motherboard to avoid shortcuts. Knowing that, let's your imagination (and you soldering iron) guide you
    Some examples (french forum, but do like childrens and only watch pictures)

    But you're right, chip manuals should indicate where to place it.
