USB HD problem –
i have a problem with usbadvance (probably the problem is cc 1.1)
usbadvance working correctly (.elf on memory card launched from bm)
but if i try to start a game it remain the written "please wait ... ... loading title"
how to resolve problem?
Crystal Chip 1.1 - firmware R29 H + bm 2.0.6
Can't be solved. There's a anti-CC-mod inside that crappy USBA.

I think it will be an invaluble source of information to the users of usbadvance/extreme just like this site is for hdadvace/loader.
the site is phpbb88.com/usbadvance
any feedback / members / applicants for mods will all be appreciated
why would a program for playing backup games have an anti piracy mod in it sounds strange to me. cant you just turn the chip off
It's the cracked "free" version, and sjeep who cracked it belongs to the DMS team, so it's pretty obvious why he added that "protection".
Disabling the chip is only an option if you have an original pressed USBextreme disc.
you could also install the memcard exploit just for booting usbadvance there fore when you install your trigger disk (ps1 game) it will boot straight into usbadvance just as if you put an original usbextreme disk in the drive but sadly this doesnt work with the iddy little baby ps2s though
Yep, not for PStwo, and that are the only ones it'd be really useful for. All big PS2s can just hook up an IDE HDD for a much better solution than USB. I'm really glad with my HDCombo.
well you would think so wouldnt you but ive been looking for a decent priced network adapter for the last 2-3 weeks and they are extortionate my 2 local gamestores say they havent seen one for over a year and sony have stopped making them now. but once i get one i will have to say my 3.5 inch 160gb drive will be out of the enclosure and into my ps2 as quick as a flash
hdcombo isnt always the best solution im crap with a soldering iron and only live in a small town so knowone to fit it and im too tight to pay for it as well £64 for the drive and £15 for the swap magic was enough for me now i need a really cheap network adapter
