Hey. I have a crystal chip 1.1 in my ps2. I previously had Bootmanager installed on my memory card but unfortunately I have lost it. I need Bootmanager to install a few apps to boot divx, xvid, etc... How do I install bootmanager? Can someone please refer me to a guide? Nooby question but I seriously have no clue and found no guide on how to do it (it was done by my installer initially)

Download the hacked R34 from here.
Extract the bin/cue. Burn the bin/cue with your favorite image burning application (Nero works well) to a CD-R. Pop the CD-R in your console, the chip should boot it and a menu will appear. First flash your firmware (FW) then you can install Boot Manager (BM) to your PS2 memory card (MC). You may want to first remove the BOOT or BM folder from your MC through the R34 menu before you install BM to not only remove any unneeded files but to also prevent any misconfiguration. If the MC has no data you intend to save just format the MC through the R34 upgrade discs menu.
If you have trouble booting the disc you can enter the CC into recovery mode by tapping reset 3 times from standby with about a once second delay between taps.
Is it possible to burn the bin/cue file to a dvd? I have no blank cd-rs as of now
Just run out and get some CD-R's. The bin/cue is in a CD-R format but maybe if you extract the bin to files you can burn them to a DVD-R ... I don't know as I haven't tried.
pretty sure it's cd-r exclusively because the firmware builds a ps2 image with padding and what not....but a lot of things have changed with cc firmware in the past year from when I started.
