Update from MC ors USB?

Hi there,
is there a way to update the fw from MC or USB? If not, is there an intention do allow this in the future? I think it would be a great improvement if one is testing with the sources, wouldn't waste so many cd-r.

Yah I would like to know the same thing my Ps2 usually has a hard time playing burnt CD's

You could try CD-RW.
