I have a crystal 1.1 bootchip proffesionally installed in my PStwo (slimeline) and it worked perfectly until this morning.

I sat all night and play Crashbandicoot 1 yesterday, and when i tried to play it today, all my ps showed, was a black/gray screen.

it has no problems playing PS2 and copies of PS2 games, but no PS1 games, at all.

Does someone have a sollution to this problem ?

That must be SOOO anoying! I can't even imagine what it would be like not to be able to play No Fear - Downhill Mountain Biking!

But is it able to play PS2CD games? It might be the focus of the laser, there are two different focuses, one for DVD and one for CD media.

If the CC firmware disc boots, it's not a laser issue. If the CC firmware disc also does not boot your laser may be dying.

If the laser is fine, your SX wire probably came off.
