Some questions about 1.1 lite and Crystals Generally

Hi,

Ive only done matrix, dms, duo's2 and h20 so far, but now I had to restock with some crystals.

What i bought was Crystal Chip 1.1 lite ..

Question 1)

Will the Crystal 1.1 come with a firmware allready in the chip? If yes, will it boot a firmware update cd?

2) Do I need to attach H wire on PAL consoles? Most chips u dont need this.
3) Will crystal chip work/boot backups with hacked firmware WHEN BOOTMANAGER is NOT installed?
4) I dont see the point with this boot manager, but is it stored on memcard?
5) Can I update firmware by using CD?
6) Whats diffrent between 1.1 Lite and not Lite.

1 - The firmware the chips come with will boot the crystal chip upgrade CD. You need the hacked firmware to boot backups
2 - Yes
3 - Yes, but you can't play them online
4 - Yes. Bootmanager is also how you configure the chip, and you can boot homebrew stuff from it. Also required to play backups online.
5 - Yes
6 - Don't know.
