A question about using the updated version of HDloader with the Retail version

I just ordered the Crystal 1.1 chip
And I know that it will let me use the updated version of HDloader off of a memory card
Right now I currently have a bunch games stored on my hardrive that I put on there using the Retail version of HDloader
Now will these saved games still work if I try and run the free updated version
