Question about installing ULE with my CC

I am very lost. I'm trying to find up to date instructions for installing uLaunchELF and SMS to the CC 2.0 in my PS2. Where can I find this information?

The instructions on this site are wrong. I tried many times. It does not work. I make several CD images and those were no good. Also, my USB drive is not being detected. Its a 64 meg drive. My firmware and bootmanager are up to date. Any other suggestions?

I also tried getting the files from the Mega pack and renamingthem and making another CD. Still no good! I got messages saying that files were being copied over but then it states that the Installation Failed.

Ok I realized that the problem occured because uLaunchELF was not installing on the CC chip. It worked when installing to the memory card. Am I going to be able to install anything else on my CC2.0 Pro? Like SMS?

What firmware release are you using? It's possible that it could be that. Also, I think you need to add 'SHUTDOWN MM' somewhere in uLe and SMS. I'm not 100% sure.

No, I'm afraid you won't. CC 2.0 has only 1 MB of flash memory. And BM only is about 900KB. You'll need to use your MC to install other softwares.

Damn that sucks. Will the installed software interfere with any of the game saves or the games?

No, it doesn't suck

There is no other disadvantage of installing your APP on the MC other than taking a little space.
Don't worry, I'm using that configuration for about 1 year and it works great. If you need more space on your MC, just backup some game saves with ULE on a USB drive, your HDD or over the network using psuPaste.
