Question about Crystal Chips

I have a PS2 with Crystal Chip v1.2 and I downloaded few games (Valkyrie Profile 2, Tony Hawks Project 8) but they don't work. Tony Hawks Project 8 doesnt even run and Valkyrie Profile just freeze beginning of the game. Is there a problem with my burning? or are people having the same issue?

I don't have Valkyrie Profile, but it's known to freeze on some modded consoles.
Tony Hawks P8 works just fine here, could be a prob with the media you use.
Only use good quality media (Verbatim) and burn as slow as possible.

I just bought Verbatim DVD-R and burning but the game still does not work...any suggestion?

I just tried a backup of Tony Hawk and it works. What about other games and DVD Video ?

works...but I dunno what program do u use to burn? Nero? Alcohol?

Toast, under Mac OS X... But any program capable of 1 to 1 copies should be fine. Tony hawk's project 8 works fine with HDL too (mode 1+3).
