Question about all-region dvd function

Just installed a Crystal Chip 1.2 Lite in a v15 slim pstwo. I installed every wire except for the F wire because there is no desire to use re-writable media. Everything works, but when I try to play an out of region dvd (region 2 dvd specifically), i get the "cannot be played due to regional limitations" error from the dvd player. I am trying through bootmanager to play this dvd, so its not that obvious of a problem. I have tried setting the all-region flag, setting the player region to 0, to 2, and every other possibility i can think of, and currently nothing works. My question is does anyone have an explanation/solution to this? Do I by chance have to solder the F wire to get this function to work?

The DVD-Video patches are bugged in R34. If you want the region-free feature use R29.
