PSTwo V12 + CC1.2 + Slimline Fix-V4
PSTwo V12 + CC1.2 + Slimline Fix-V4 –

Hi
I have PSTwo V12 and i installed there CC1.2 and Slimline Fix-V4.
I used this manual to install CC1.2
crystal-chips.com/documents/diagrams/cc11/cc11_v12.jpg
I used this manual to install Slimline Fix-V4
i-c.bz/Comsoft-SlimlineFIX_V4.jpg
Problem is this:
When i power my PSTwo. It won't show anything on TV and disc doesn't spin.
PSTwo led is green
Slimline led is flashing with blue color (The flashing LED shows the chip is working properly.)
Crystal Chip led is green all the time (LED glows all the time and won't go off = Wrong installation of the bios wires.)
I checked all wires with beeper and they were in right places.
I installed chips same positions as this pic is showing:
norcalmods.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=12&pos=20
Im curious about that pic because there is going one yellow wire top left, next to big chip. And in CC homepage that manual doesn't show same place to that wire.
But can anyone say what is wrong?

Well it sounds like even though you tested your solder points, something is still amiss. You may have a bridges point or two, or your validation of your solder points is simply incorrect. If the diagnosis LED is staying solid this indicates a error with your BIOS points. Check M,N,O,P,Q,R,S,T,U,V and W.
The points I think you are referring to in my install picture is the 3.3V point. That point in the picture is an alternate point that I often use on the slim consoles. The ones in the CC diagram are correct if that it what you are wondering.
Good luck.

Thanks. I will check those wires and solder them again. Wire what i meant is SX-wire. It is soldered left side of big chip. In CC manual it is top side of chip. I think it is easier to solder SX-wire the way you do it? Can you show pic for optional solderingpoint?

The alternate SX point that I use on the slim consoles is actually a chip leg on the CXD chip. The is a picture I posted a long time ago when the early V14's first started to appear and some of us were calling them V15's. Anyway it shows the SX point I use even though its a different version as all PS2/PSTwo's from V1-V15 can use this some point on the CXD chip.

Big thanks guru! I have to sadly say that i have to drop my PSTwo to trashcan :\. I tried to solder all wires again but always same problem. Then i made last test. I soldered both chip out. Now there is no laserfix (i fixed point what had to cut) and no CC but it still makes same thing.
Powerled is green, DVD doesn't spin at all, there is no image on TV. Only black screen. I used flux in installs and i dunno what did go wrong.
I need to call MacGyver...
But thansk spedmetal from all the help you shared!
