PlayStation 2 "whoo" logo –
I understand that a correct installation of the CCs also means that the PS2 "whoo" logo and the PS1 logo are skipped when loading the games.
However, is it possible to allow the user to toggle whether or not to include them back? It seems more "complete" this way. Could this be implemented as an option on the crystal chip itself, or changeable by modifying the source code?
I checked the source code and tried some modifications where it says that I needed the ps2logo.elf file. I did all that, but it still does not show me the ps2 logo, yet everything boots up fine. Is the logo disabled elsewhere then?
Is it possible to get the PS1 logo to show up once again as well?
