Playing AVI and WMV Formats on Ps2

I have several different animes put on .avi format and .wmv. Is there any program out there that can navigate through a DVD burnt disc and play just the .avi file in the DVD ? I used nero and burnt a Data DVD and i thought there has to be a program that can explore a dvd and play the movies any help will be great.

Check the Homebrew section of the forums for media player programs. There are 2 popular ones SMS and PS2RealityPlayer or something like that. I'm not into the Homebrew scene so that's all I know.

SMS is the best player and he play all avi files. WMV dont play any player.

Thanks...I'm trying to figure out how to run the .elf file of SMS player but once i get that i will be set thanks
