    Hello everyone,

I have a PS2 slimline. Inside I have a cc2.0. Is is possible to connect my Western DIGITAL USB harddisk and play my (original) games from the harddisk. Does anyone know a tutorial for connecting and installing the USB harddisk and the software I need.

    kind regards

I assume by harddisk you mean harddrive if so yes you can but compaibility is very low

just get usbloader and an external harddrive case

If you want better compatibility you can use HDLoader and HDCombo

The app which can load games from USB HD is USB Advance, but it's not compatible with the CC. Read here why: http://www.psx-scene.com/forums/show...sba#post350668
And like blyth said, it's compatibility isn't good, and the speed is sometimes even worse than from disc.

HDL uses an internal IDE HDD that's why you'd need the HDCombo. But HDCombo is only compatible with the first slimline versions v12/13. If you have a v14/15 then you can't use an internal IDE HDD.
