Backup software seems to load like normal, but after a little bit the spinning just stops outright, and in the bootmanager it keeps restarting the load sequence, and in the browser, it just gives the red screen o' death.
What could the problem be? Any particular wire solder points that could cause this problem on a GH-019?

Check your wiring. Likely a install error. It can be a wire came off. Check the B or A wire.

Thanks for the reply.
I've checked the wiring thoroughly, under 10x magnification and strong light, plus the entire board for solder splashes and bridges. None of the wires are crossed or even touching.
The loading routine sounds identical to that of a stock system trying to load a backup, but other chip functions remain. It skips the Playstation 1 / 2 splash screens when loading an original, and the bootloader loads up fine, but backups don't even register to it. I even tried flashing different hacked bios versions via inlink, same effect.
