"After several months of development Crystal Chip 1.1 is now finally released. It has several new and improved features, and all the popular features from the previous versions are of course intact. The hardware is revamped; most notably an integrated laser diode fix and a LED indicator that assists installation. The software also had an overhaul and now offers the most complete media support (including DVDR9) and DNAS bypass. This chip has more features than competing chips like Matrix Infinity, but is several Euros cheaper. This will definitely be one of the most popular chips this season!"

    look good to me

Hmm, how do we tell if it's a 1.1? It looks the same at first glance. Are you talking about the laser diode fix for V12-V13's?

The board is pretty much revamped, there are three new points; HA and SO(?) for the onboard v12 fix and a new 3v3 point on the opposite side of the other.

Easiest way to tell them apart, would probably be to look for the Crystal-Chip icon, it's now more in the middle of the board and closer to the Actel IC.

    I attached a picture showing them side-by-side.

I think it's because it's still unconfirmed and there's no official post on the cc site. Do you mean 2.0? No word about that yet.

Agent can you explain this protection?
