Nice install. Got to say thumbs up on the original wire routing. :)
If it works I guess it's ok but my first thought is that those wires are too damn long.
Routing be damned, you want them as short as possible.
crystal is not like DMS crap, length is not a big issue, allot of people install there mods there, personally, I set the mod on top of the big IC next to the IDE/Netowrk plug, I have done over 200 that way and not a single issue
