mod chip reinstallation

just moved a modchip from a v4 to a v14..

booted to a bm menu right away.. looking great but the laser won't move or turn on.. i found this after putting it all back together so at this point it's apart.. does light affect it turning on?

seems like all my connections are good.

had trouble with point g.. took the via off soldered it to the other side.. the side where i took it off has continuity w/ the point on the other side.. also the pad on the chip and there is voltage running through it when i turn the ps2 on..

i mention this point because it's next to that chip w/out legs...

looks like the only connectors going to the lens tray all have voltage through em but the motor..
