Memory Card Issues

I was thinking about getting the Crystal 1.2 and was wondering if it has any memory card issues? Do I have to use the genuine $ony made memory cards or can I use generic 64 mb memory cards?

It has auto patching for 16/32/64 MB Memory Cards so you don't even need the boot cd that comes with the memory cards! So yeah get a 64 MB one but some games such as RE4, saves get corrupt without an offical memory card so get a 64 MB and the offical 8 MB for a spare for those "special" games. I think $ony did it on purpose!

I only use official $ony cards. The risk of loosing data on a 64mb is too high in my opinion. I heard a lot of people complain about that problem.
And since LaunchELF provides a way to unlimited storage space, almost free of charge; with the "mcPaste" command you can back up all your savegames to usb, hdd, or pc via LAN; there's no need for a big MC.
Just buy a 128 or 256MB USB pen drive and all space problems are gone without the risk of loosing data!
