Latest 'stable' release ?

Hi, I'm pretty new to my CC1.2

What I was wondering is whether there is a somewhat 'stable' release of the software, because it seems that all the versions i've tried (29 and onward) have their own bugs..

is there an older version that is just really solid, and works for playing games off burned discs?

FW 29 is the best right now. FW 34 still hasn't worked out the PAL/NTSC video fixes and some users still report a black screen upon upgrade. I would give it 2 more weeks before the next stable release FW 36, 37 maybe.
