When I load Ape Escape, whether original or backup, through the Boot Manager or without the boot manager, the controller pad is locked when trying to select 'New Game' or 'Load Save', as if there is no Dual Shock controller.

The only way to play the game is to disable the chip by pressing reset 6 times, and then using an original copy :S

Is there any hope that this can be fixed, or something like that..?
Is the chip still being developed for at the moment?
