To install TO or not install TO that is the Q?

My CC 1.0 has a TO pad marked.... but the install diagrams (v14) don't require it...

Why is that?

Thanks to an expert installer my CC got installed. I've hung up my soldering iron... for a while at least...

Sorry... just found the answer.

No need to wire TO for CC 1.0

That's a relief. Not sure why there is a pad then!

the CC1.0 uses the TO on V1-V8 PS2's and not on the V9-V14 thats why. However the CC1.1 uses the TO on all versions.

I looked back a few versions but didn't get as far back as v8!
