I load cc-upgrage.bin only, then cc-upgrade.cue, then cc-upgrade.bin and .cue together. Nothing will load or boot in cd. I have verbatim cd-r. Did i load the rite .bin or .cue? or the cd i use is no good if so which brand did you use?
    Thanks for help so far

You can't make a data CD and put the bin/cue on there, that can't work. The bin contains the files that have to be burned on the CD and the cue infos about how it has to be burned.
Use Nero, goto burn image, select the bin and set mode2, or simply select the cue, if it works for you.

Selecting the bin works fine with Nero Burning Rom, don't know if it works with Nero Express though. Nero BR doesn't like the cue, at least in my place, so I always select the bin and manually set mode2 to burn it, works like a charm.

The red screen may indicate that the chip is not active, assuming that the CD was burned correctely. Try to boot it in recovery mode.(turn on, then 3 times reset)

And like I told you in an other thread, your son must have played around in the MC manager menu too, just clicking restore menu can't cause the problems you experience.

    best regards Jones23
