Your installer should have added a note to not do what you have done with an explanation why. This can be very annoying for a customer and it doesn't take much to drop a simple note in the box with the console explaining this.
Basically what you have done is remove Boot Manger or formatted the :dffs. The CC2.0 will not boot with out Boot Manager. All is well however, you just simply need to boot your CC2.0 into recovery mode by tapping reset 3 times from standby with about a 1 second delay between taps. You will know your in recovery mode because the console will enter the standard Sony boot screen. You will then need to have the hacked FW/BM burned to a CD-R which you can find here, I currently recommend using R29 as R30/31 is buggy.
http://www.psx-scene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48790
With the chip now in recovery mode pop in the R29 upgrade disc. The flash upgrade screen will appear. Start by installing the FW then install the BM. Remove the disc, turn off the console and reboot. Everything will be back to normal at this point.
I also recommend that CC come up with a fool proof method to avoid this issue in the future, such as a warning screen or removing the option all together on the CC2.0 as the CC2.0 must have Boot Manger in order to work, and instead implement the option to remove BM when you have booted an upgrade disc.
People think that the only way to enter the Sony browser is to remove Boot Manger, they do not realize that there is an option to enter the Sony Browser from with in Boot Manager. So what they do is remove BM and end up with a non-working chip, simple to fix but not idiot proof. I also recommend that the option to boot into the Sony Browser be placed directly under the "Boot Disc" option. This will save some headache for the uneducated
I also recommend that the FW and BM be considered one on the CC2.0 since the FW and BM are both needed unlike with the CC1.X's. When the option to upgrade is selected the FW and BM will both be flashed. I wouldn't mind even seeing separate upgrade ISO's for all CC1.X's and CC2.X's

Why complicate things just use a CD-R. Also dont worry about contacting your installer, and his "boss" hehe, they will see this soon enough
