help please!

Hello i had a v4 ps2 with c.c 1.1 installed recently and system starts up fine but I can't seem to able to flash it. Just goes to the normal screen and never starts up. I checked the led and it flashes on start up then shuts of so bios is fine and the other wires look good to me. Do I put the firmware on a CD-R or DVD+R ? thanks for any help!

Burn it on a CDR disc. Copy it at 2x and on good media.

Thanks I'm using Taiyo Yuden which always worked great.

Try copying it at a slower speed it should work.
