Help forgot chip button layout!!!

hey guys,
i had my slim ps2 installed with a cc and i have not played it in awhile well once in a while. I never used the chip itself. i played a copy of spiderman 2. Now that i want to use the chip my buddy tells me that there is a update for our chip but i dont know what version of the chip i have. The person that installed it for us gave us a quick toturial on the chip but now i forgot and my buddy is retarded and can not remember it. Can SOMEONE PLZ PLZ post the controller layout for me plz? So i can find out what version i have so i can upgrade the firm ware. I have been to the cc website and i could not find it and also what the latest version does and how to do it. I heard that you can play online now.

it doesnt matter what version of FW or chip you have, just download the hacked FW from this site, burn it and install both firmware and bootmanager on your PS2, it autodetects your chip. there are no special buttons to press, if you want to know what FW you have you need to have bootmanager installed.

yes i have bm installed. i found out how to upgrade it i just need to know the layout for example. How do i turn on and off the chip. Stuff like that.

Recovery-Mode: 3x reset
Hardware-Sleep-Mode: 6x reset
for upgrading the chip you do not need to use any of those modes as long as the chip is already working

sorry i havent been paying attention to my ps2 since WOW came into my life. =) Also i tried looking to see how the dnas was beat and want to use that feature on my chip. I could not find any instructions in doing this. Can someone link the post?

for playing unpatched backups online use the hacked firmware with bootmanager installed. let the game autoboot or boot in enhanced mode. nothing else has to be done, crystal will make it for ya ;)

In the event that something goes wrong with your CC's flash the CC has a back-up recovery flash that you can boot into to correct the faulty flash.

cool thanks i just updated my cc and bm and the games that i had trouble with my dms chip are working great. games like from 04. i have cc v1.0 and use cd hacked firmware 29...so i should be all good with all the features..right?
