Perhaps a few more ! would fix the problem!
Check all your wires. If they're fine, remove the chip and clean up all the points you installed to.
all the wires look fine , is there any certian wires that would make it do this?
I'd suspect the "neofix". Perhaps you should remove that whole thing. I've read numerous reports about it causing problems.![]()
I traced the prob to G wire, but now the chip led is on when i plug the ps2 in, when i hit power the red turns green and the chip led goes out comes back on for a sec. then goes out, ps2 while not boot
ok i took out the neofix and when ever i hook up the g wire the red lite on the ps2 will not come on, as soon as i un hook the g were it comes back on.
when the the ps2 boots up with the chip which screen should come up? the bootmanager? i get the regulur boot screen.
also when i took the neofix off the point (chip)were the k wire goes for the neofix came off, what will that do?
are you sure you're connecting "G" to the right point?
you should get the normal boot screen when you first install the chip. after installing BM and upgrading the firmware you will get BM when you turn on the console.
no idea about "K", I've never used that fix.
ok i got it all working and it works good lol, thanks for all the help.
will someone please tell me which versions for sure need the neofix please.
good to hear u got it workin. you have a v14 so u do not need a neofix or any other diode fix. only v12 needs the fix
