You have to create a partition named "Crystal" to be able to use the HDD with BM.

hum! And this can be done in Winhiip 1.7.6?
Click in format drive , in the format box do I change de __main to Crystal? that's it? but what size?
tks!
The best way would be to use ule to make the partition since winhiip won't allow to make a non hdl partition.
any size you want, but since you'll only use it for apps, 128MB should be sufficient. and like timberland said, better use uLE to create it. __main is a system partition and messing with that could have bad side effects.
OK! but this system partions use a lot o space! Can I change it to 0mb or 128mb?
tried to reduce but din't work, so get back to default and worked!
HDloader it's ok, but launchelf din't rum from hdd!
Yes, the system partitions are needed. You can't cut them away. Hope you believe me now, that messing with them is no good.
uLE doesn't work cause there's a driver conflict. It tries to load driver that are already loaded. I'll try it again to see if I can find a workaround, but it's better to start it from MC anyways, since that's the original method and will always work.

tks a lot! Now got the same msg (please wait...)f or my DataTraveler from Kingston 1GB on BM! I saw that is needed a usbd.irx or usb_max.irx to launchelf reconize it, I get it from 3.80 (usb_max.irx) in source folder but didn't work! it opens but doens"t shows anything, like it was empty!
So, is that the format method? do i should use fat or fat32?
can you help, plz?
uLE v4.02 and BM2.0.6 (release29) use the same driver. So if you need to use an external driver with uLE to make your stick working, the only chance you have is to try the fixed driver release from uLE's support thread. Others don't work with uLE v4.02. If you find a working one, you can try that in BM too. Replace the USBHDFSD.IRX in the SHARED folder, but I'm not sure if that works.
FAT only works with some devices, FAT32 should be the better choice.
