Hi there. This is the first time that i have installed a modchip in a PS2. I have a CC 2.0 pro. I installed it and had a slight mix up on the bios wires. I have fixed the problem and everything seems to run fine. My problem is that I put in a ps2 game and it goes to the browser and restarts every time I try to play the game. I assume its because i havent installed the firmware yet. I tried to burn the fw 29 normal and hacked and neither will load. I've tried burning with alcohol and nero with memorex and maxell cd's. Everytime i put it in it tries to read a few times, stops, then goes to the screen that says "Please inset a PlayStaion or PlayStaion 2 format disc". Is there something I am doing wrong or is there possibly a problem with the chip, or maybe wiring?

If anyone could steer me in the right direction i would appreciate it.

I have no pics of the install (no camera) and i just finished checking and metering all the wires and everything looks good. I had a feeling when i saw the SX wire was more like the 004 instead of the 005 on my board something wasnt going to work,
