Hard Drive Question Ps2 Crystal Chip

Hi All,

OK im getting a crystal chip installed in a ps2 and was wondering if i got an external hard drive and connected it to the ps2 via usb will i be able to load ps2 games from the hard drive?
If so im assuming i have to put specail software on the hard drive.

it is possible but is very slow and not very compatible. HD advance/extreme is wat u are looking for
