Going to mod with CC1.1, no clue what im supposed to do

well srry guys but im a newb. Anyways, im going to mod my ps2 with a CC1.1 and after i put the chip in, i have no idea what kind of software im supposed to put on it and i have no clue how im supposed to get it on there so i need a step by step guide of what im supposed to do to gett my ps2 to play backup disks and play stuff from the HDD.

Please excuse my newbishness, and thanx for dealing with my idiocy...err..w/e it is.srry im just kinda new to the ps2 modding thing, THANX!!

If you don't know how to solder I suggest sending your ps2 to a modchip installer... Heres install diagrams for the crystal chip 1.1

To play backups etc you need to flash it with a hacked firmware once you have installed the chip.

Will the firmware allow me to boot games from my hdd or will i need something else? thnx!
