Flash firmware through a USB drive

How can i install the latest firmware + boot manager with a usb drive? Thanks.

EDIT: After searching i found that i will have to use a cd because this is not a firmware upgrade this is the 1st flash. Can some1 confirm?

Yes, if this is the first install, you'll have to burn a CD.
