So! I saw 32 sitting there and I decided to put it on my PS2 CC2.0 v15. Anyway....it was an almost shit my pants moment. Having read about the difficulties with black screens, I didn't even test my PS2 before reseting three time to get into recovery mode. I popped in the 32 disc, and..........BLACK SCREEN. I started to panic. I immediately restarted.....and BLACK SCREEN. Now I'm about to start screaming/crying/throwing tantrum. I hadn't tested my PS2 for at least 2 weeks, so now I start worrying that my install is to blame. OH NO, I'm going to have to open my PS2 again. Opening my PS2 is NOT something I like to do. 32 tiny wires is something I don't want to mess with on my weekend.

Anyway, I rush to the forum and I read it might work to FALL BACK to 29, as 30/31/32 is buggy ( NOW YOU TELL ME/so thats what the black screens are). I put my old 29 disc back in, after putting to recovery mode, (3 Resets) as my regular booting is now 100% broken (black screen.) Anyway, the cd boots up and I'm able to recover.

People....If you run into trouble with 30/31/32, just fall back to 29. I got really jumpy as I had not tested my PS2 in weeks, and immediately thought it was wires coming loose. Alas it was the firmware, thank you lord
