I had know idea how much I was missing out on just playing games .
Loading apps to mc with mp3 player 5gb with version 34 and cc2.0

Last night tried...following your info....HDloader it can be installed to the flash..and can boot the hdloader...

This essential pack will play backup PS2's ? I'm new to this forum. Please help and also directions to install BM. Steps in wiki are confusing.

I have PS2 V15 and CC Pro 2.0. Can anyone guide me steps to install BM and application
from CD.

I'm not sure which version of firmware pack i need to download.

I would like to play backup PS1, PS2 , Mp3 , avi (divx and xvid) and if possible Nitendo emulator (optional).

Please help

Try this link for the firmware hacked iso R34. Oh and in order to install the firmware and BM you need to press restart on your ps2 3 times to put it in safe mode (forget right word for the mode) then cd should boot. http://www.psx-scene.com/forums/crys...34-hacked.html
The pack Yoc has SMS which should be able to play mp3 avi and mpeg files just read the readme in the link on the first post. As far as nintendo emulator goes not sure cause i don't use those.

I can see that Jones23 and Yoc has SMS along with the firmware pack. Can anyone please suggest me which version to use.

Is it possible to connect USB mass storage drive or a thumb drive to USB of V15 PS2? If so, do we need to have any specific apps to be present in the firmware pack ?

The Essential Pack (and the Mega Pack) are not firmwares. They only allow to install applications.
You'll need to install the hacked or official firmware before trying to install anything from a pack.

Hi Yoc - thanks for the pack.

After installing some of the apps in the pack to the HDD, using a partition named Crystal, and then attempting to launch them...the screen blinks a few times and then shows the PS2 Browser and never runs the application. If I install the application onto the memory card, it works fine.

Any ideas?

I'm also using the cracked v34 software as well. (or so i think)

also, starting the app from the elf launcher works fine.

so far, just about anything installed from your pack using the cc bm as an installer to the hard drive.

i don't know if it is just me or not. Everything run from a mem card fine. But, i would like to use the HDD instead.
