My DVD movie won't work on my PS2. It just shows up as a white disc.
It works on my DVD player, but not on my PS2.
Someone please help
Edit: Ok, I upgraded to 34 and now when I try to start the DVD, it says tv system doesn't match
What can I do?![]()

Is your PS2 an NTSC-Console and is your DVD in PAL?
Yes.
Afaik, that won't work.
Only vice versa, if you have a PAL-DVDPLAYER-Software in your PS2 (you have a NTSC-Console, so no go [yet? ^^ ]) and a NTSC-Video-DVD.
What about DivX to DVD, it can force the video to NTSC, but it's taking 2 hours to finish, literally.
Ah,... Another idea.
Just don't use the original DVD-Player, to load your DVD-Movies.
You can start your DVD-VOB's through SMS.
But you must start it after another,...
Hopefully IFO/BUP-Support will be added (SMS 3.0? hrhr).
What about MCLoader's DVD Region Free option? I use it to defeat the green screen on NTSC DVD-V's on PAL V7 PS2 using a RGB-Scart cable, is it a PAL only program? it still returns to browser menu for you run the dvd so maybe not IDK if it'd work for you or failing that Thunder chip's DVD RegionKey ELF that directly runs the DVD-V without going to browser after you setup the region I think it's a NTSC only program cos it crashed after a few seconds of video before going to dvd menu screen when I ran it with FMCB and uLE either that or it's requirement to actually have the thunderchip for the program to work fully.
