How is using an external dvd-writer and the speed you get with your specific hardware in any way related to this thread?
Sorry, but your explaination here really lacks crutial information about how the burning-process works and why the burn-quality is even affected by the speed and media...
because each disc is build in an specific material for an specific speed.
