    A v14 gh037 with a problem

Any one have a clue what coulkd be wrong?

    Problem:
First full bootrate then when intro is on on (SSX) for 10-15min then the machines hangs.

Then the machine gets warm and the botrate goes down to maybe 70% then it goes even lower to 50%.

The discs works in other machines but are a bit scratched.

Could the scratched disc cause the heating problem leading to a overheated cc1.1 and then the bootrate will go down?

The chip is placed under the right controllerport.

I made 2 installs (changed location of chip + changed to new chip)with same problem and no friend that can look at the install :/

    Thanks in advance

    Hahahha i fixed it bymyself

The v14 seems to have a litle bit worse laser than the rest of the ps2:s. When i use my newly burnt soulcalibur3 (Mitsubishi-r)the bootrate is up to 100% and not as hot as it was when i used scratched media. I also chanbged the power wire to standard kynar instead of the thicker one, and used all screws for the metalshielding of the motherboard. Now i can finaly go to sleep

Anyone else has readig difficulties with v14?
