but that will be resolved, but i believe they are working on stuff and testing it out.

I would expect BM 2.0 to still be compatible with all of them.
Well, it's not just CB 9.x. I've tried all versions all the way back to 7. Only one that works is the beta version of 7. Also everything before that works because there's no anti-mod protection, but there's no Day1, memory manager, and V6 and under can't use any of the new codes

I decided to try my Action Replay MAX today without using BootManager. I'm surprised I didn't think of doing that before ^_^ It works, AND boots the game up with codes active.

It's not really my cheat tool of choice, but it'll have to do for now. I prefer Codebreaker greatly over ARMax, only because the Codebreaker staff are not only better hackers, but there are usually many more codes available for games that Codejunkies would have only hacked a couple for. Plus, the ARMax is Sloooooooooow. It takes up to a minute and a half to load the cheat list. That's pathetic. 2 seconds to load the Codebreaker cheat list. What can I say, I'm a speed whore

Yes. I tried running my 8.1, 9.0, and 9.2 without Boot Manager. They don't run. The only way they do is if you press Reset 6 times to disable the chip, which is a hassle to do every time, and annoying.

    @ TheAgent:

The CCTeam should have closer contact with the users. They could at least update their news once a month ("still working on it" would be enough) just to let us know they're still alive.
It would be really nice to know some more facts of the development. They could really tell us those features and bugfixes, that most (or all?) other chips already have.
Their way of trying to add hundreds of features with every new release is not the best I think. Why not add one thing at a time and provide it to the users? Everyone could test and report bugs. This works perfect in the homebrew scene.
Or they could release beta versions for testing. I think many people would appreciate that.

I really like my Crystal Chip and I would gladly support the CCTeam in any way I can to make the CC the number one modchip.

Where do you see any other modchip makers posting any progress reports. The last time any group did that was months ago. There are updates on my site too. Most of you just aren't looking!

Sorry, I didn't find that site. Should be linked on the CC homepage. Nice improvements. Where can I download this new BM?
Honestly, why did they make CC open source, when they don't hold contact to the programming community? I thought the reason for open source is to get more people involved in the development. At least it should be so. Would be more efficient I think.

they've release everything in order for others to get started creating their own custom firmware versions. BM isn't OS because it's the only way they can stay competitive in the market. You would be sure to see the matrix team and dms use parts of BM in their own stuff if it was. I have only seen one unique firmware update from a third party.

It let ppl run any elf from a usb mass device at startup. The irx files were put on your memory card and a boot.elf in your usb mass device. It was never released. way too buggy...

    Hi Agent,

    Saw this on the roadmap:
    14.2.06
    - new psone fix.
    - loading from other media has greatly improved.
    - CC team moving into full skinning and customization of bm.

    Was there a February release?
