Crystal meny wont boot, just original ps2 meny

Im new to this forum, as well as the chip scene. First, Ive tried to find other posts about this problem without any luck. Im sorry if Im missed info about it.
Ive been using my ps2 slim with a cc 2.0 for some time without problems. Yesterday I played this game, an original ps2 game NTSC (I have a pal ps2 console). I turned the machine off, then later the crystal meny wouldnt load. Instead the original ps2 meny loads and it wont recognize the game disc. Ive tried to load in recovery mode (pressing reset three times) without success. Im sure that I didnt turn off the chip (reset *6) before the problem occured.
I got the cc software 34 files and tried to burn the image file to disc in Imgburn, but when done it says that the media on the disc is not readable for any software. I cant verify the burnt disc in my PC and when I try to start it in the ps2 I cant get the recovery mode to start.

It could be the burn, it could be the media used.....but its common for the BM software to just not work one day....dont know why, but its happened to me twice so far.

Once you do find a good brand of CD and burn it, you should be able to boot it by turning on the console with the CD in the tray. If it doesnt, press the reset button 3 times (recovery mode) or 6 times (disables chip) and the disc should run.

Once you have it running, just re-install the software.
